Gli studenti che intendono accedere al Master Degree in ""Biotechnologies and Applied Artificial Intelligence for Health". " devono essere in possesso di un Diploma di laurea di primo livello nelle classi di Lauree Triennali in Scienze Biologiche (L-13), Biotecnologie (L-2), Ingegneria (L-8, L-9), Scienze e Tecnologie Informatiche (L-31) o di altro titolo conseguito all'estero, riconosciuto idoneo sulla base della normativa vigente. Potranno, inoltre, accedere al Corso di Laurea Magistrale i laureati in altre classi di laurea che dimostrino il possesso di requisiti curriculari corrispondenti ad adeguati numeri di CFU in specifici settori scientifico-disciplinari, che vengono definiti nel regolamento didattico.
In tutti i casi, gli studenti che intendono accedere al Master Degree in ""Biotechnologies and Applied Artificial Intelligence for Health". " devono possedere una adeguata preparazione di base su discipline fondamentali quali matematica, fisica, chimica, informatica, discipline biologiche relative al funzionamento dei sistemi cellulari e degli organismi.
Gli studenti per l'accesso alla laurea magistrale devono inoltre possedere adeguata conoscenza della lingua inglese (livello B2).
La verifica del possesso di tali conoscenze, e dell'adeguatezza della preparazione personale avviene secondo modalità definite nel Regolamento Didattico del Corso di Studio.
Students with the following prerequisites will be eligible for the access to the Master's Degree in “Biotechnologies and Applied Artificial Intelligence for Health”:
- Those who have earned a first level degree in Biotechnologies (L-2 class) or Biological Sciences (L-13 class), and have acquired, in their previous educational programs, knowledge corresponding to at least 30 ECTS in biology disciplines (SSD from BIO/01 to BIO/19) and at least 18 ECTS in Biochemistry (BIO/10), Genetics (BIO/18) and Molecular Biology (BIO/11)
- Those who have earned a first level degree in Engineering (L-8 or L-9 classes) or Informatics (L-31 class), and have acquired, in their previous educational programs, knowledge corresponding to at least 30 ECTS in informatics, biomedical engineering, mathematics, statistics (SSD INF/01, INGINF/05, ING-INF/06, MAT/01-MAT/09, SECS-S/01) and at least 6 ECTS in Mathematics (MAT/01-MAT/09), and 12 ECTS in INF/01, ING-INF/05, INGINF/06, SECS-S/01
- Those who have earned a first level degree in other classes and have acquired, in their previous educational programs, knowledge corresponding to at least 90 ECTS in SSD indicated as ‘basic' in the schemes of class L-2 - Biotechnologies (from FIS/01 to FIS/08 - INF/01 - from MAT/01 to MAT/09 -
MED/01 - SECS‐S/01, SECS-S/02 - CHIM/01, CHIM/02, CHIM/03, CHIM/06 ‐ BIO/01, BIO/10, BIO/11, BIO/13, BIO/17, BIO/18, BIO/19) or L-13 Biological
Sciences (BIO/01, BIO/02, BIO/04, BIO/05, BIO/06, BIO/07, BIO/09, BIO/10, BIO/11, BIO/18, BIO/19 - from FIS/01 to FIS/08 - INF/01 - ING-INF/05 - from
MAT/ 01 to MAT/09 - CHIM/01, CHIM/02, CHIM/03, CHIM/06).
Eligible students must also demonstrate a B2 level of knowledge in English language.
The same criteria of eligibility as above will be applied to those students who earned their university degree in foreign countries.
The verification of the initial preparation consists of a possible written test and an oral test, carried out by a special commission, to verify the possession of adequate knowledge of the disciplines that refer to the scientific disciplinary fields indicated above.
The written test will be carried out at the discretion of the commission based on the number of applications for admission to the master's degree program.
The oral test will be aimed at verifying the level of knowledge of the English language, so it will be conducted entirely in
English language.
Only students who already possess the required degree for admission may participate in the test(s).
Only students who pass any written test and who meet the curricular requirements may participate in the oral test.
Depending on the result of the oral test, the following situations may occur:
- unconditional admission to the master's degree program, or
- non-admission to the master's degree program, or
- admission contingent upon passing certain educational activities (up to a maximum of 40 CFUs). In this case, the Student will be enrolled in Single Transition Courses to achieve the required level of preparation.
