Open to students, academics and staff, the Circle U. Seed-funding Scheme supports collaborative projects in all fields and at all levels. The annual call provides an opportunity to start bottom-up initiatives and make the most of the alliance. The application period runs from 22 June to 23 October 2026, with the funding period covering the full following calendar year.
This online course is designed for PhD students and university faculty members who wish to integrate generative AI into their teaching in a pedagogically sound, critical, and responsible way. Register by 5 September!


This three-day interdisciplinary workshop, taking place in Pisa from 21 to 23 October, explores one of the major societal challenges facing Europe: demographic ageing. Through expert talks, collaborative problem-solving, and innovation-focused activities, students will gain insights into the opportunities and challenges of promoting healthy ageing in increasingly ageing populations.
The Unipi team includes Agata Bernacca, Mattia Pietro Canale, Diego La Gioia and Anna Terroni, who will represent the University in the many initiatives shared with Circle U.’s partner institutions.
