Duration: 2 years

The Master’s Degree Course in Sciences and Techniques of Preventive and Adapted Physical Activities trains professionals to design, conduct and manage specific physical activities and research and teaching activities in the field of physical exercise. The course is divided into three curricula:
  • Education - dedicated to the study of the theory and techniques of teaching Physical Education in a school setting
  • Research - focused on the methodology and design of scientific research applied to physical exercise
  • Prevention and health - dedicated to the assessment and planning of training and physical rehabilitation programmes for healthy individuals or those affected by chronic diseases
Academic disciplines include:
  • Body systems related to physical exercise
  • Chemical and biochemical mechanisms governing metabolic activities
  • Functioning of the human body, neuromuscular mechanisms connected to physical activity, energetic and biomechanical aspects of movement
  • Biology of ageing
  • Metabolism and nutrition in sports activity
  • Psychological and educational dimensions of groups.

Conoscere l'organizzazione morfologica degli apparati dell'organismo umano correlati all'esercizio fisico e l'organizzazione biologica che presiede alla vita. Conoscere i meccanismi chimici e biochimici che regolano le attività metaboliche e cellulari. Conoscere il funzionamento dell'organismo umano, i meccanismi neuromuscolari connessi all'attività motoria integrati con gli aspetti energetici e biomeccanici del movimento. Conoscere la didattica e le tecniche di base delle discipline sportive e della programmazione di attività motoria. Conoscere le cause e i meccanismi patogenetici delle principali malattie dell'uomo correlate all'attività motoria e sportiva non chè il valore preventivo e riabilitativo dell'attività motoria e il mantenimento della salute. I requisiti curriculari consistono nel possesso di una laurea della classe 33 (509) 0 L-22 (270) oppure in numeri di CFU conseguiti in specifici settori scientifico-disciplinari come definito nel regolamento didattico del corso di studi. Il regolamento didattico del corso di studi definisce altresì le modalità di verifica della personale preparazione dello studente. L'accesso al corso di studio è subordinato alla conoscenza della lingua inglese con un livello pari almeno a B1. Per ulteriori dettagli si rimanda al regolamento didattico del CDS.

Ai sensi della Legge 2 agosto 1999 n. 264, art. 2, si prevede annualmente un accesso programmato dalla sede, visto l'obbligo istituzionale per gli studenti iscritti di espletare un tirocinio come parte integrante del percorso formativo da svolgere in strutture diverse dall'Ateneo, appositamente convenzionate. I posti disponibili sono 75. Le modalità di accesso e di selezione sono definiti annualmente attraverso apposito bando rettorale

The degree gives access to the training programme for teaching physical education and sports in schools.

Sign in or log in on Alice portal by 23,59 9 September 2025:

  • In order to sign up you will be asked to insert details about your Health Insurance card (tessera sanitaria) and your tax code (codice fiscale)
  • You will have to upload a scanned copy of your Identity Document and a passport-sized photograph
  • Once you entered your personal area, please select “Secretariat” and then “Admission Test”
  • Once you have completed the registration, a receipt of registration to the admission test with a unique number will be available
  • Pay the test fee of 30.00 visible in the ‘Fees’ section of the Alice portal by 9 September 2025.


The admission test will take place remotely on September 23, 2025, at 9:00 AM.

The test will last 60 minutes and consists of 40 multiple choice questions, only one option is correct.
