The degree course in History trains graduates to understand and communicate the past, and to interpret the present through this understanding. Students are introduced to the practice of historical research through solid knowledge of major historiographical subjects and debates, the acquisition of methodologies for processing and interpreting sources, and a rigorous and clear historiographical language.  The course of study covers the entire history of humankind, with constant reference to the geographical dimension of historical problems. The course is divided into three curricula:
  • Ancient History
  • Medieval History
  • Modern and Contemporary History
Traditional lectures are complemented by seminars, practical and laboratory activities, as well as conferences, workshops and forums for direct contact with national and international scientific debate. The Bachelor’s degree allows free access to the Master’s degree course in History and Civilisations (class LM-84).

Content in Italian

Ogni domanda corretta equivale a 1 punto.
