The Bachelor’s degree course in Management Engineering provides the methodological foundations for master’s studies, but also the professional skills needed for immediate entry into the workforce.   A management engineer uses an engineering approach and multidisciplinary skills to analyse, reorganise and improve an organisation’s structure and processes. This maximises performance and facilitates adaptation to a changing competitive environment. The course has a single curriculum organised as follows:
  • 1st Year: disciplines common to engineering degrees in the industrial class (mathematics, physics, materials technology) and principles of economics, organisation and statistics.
  • 2nd Year: the focus is on technical-engineering subjects in the industrial sector (drawing, mechanics, energy systems, electrical engineering, mechanical technology) and computer science.
  • 3rd Year: disciplines include the study of databases, industrial automation, industrial plants, quality management, process management, and business management.
The Bachelor’s degree gives access to the Master’s degree course in Management Engineering (LM-31). If you meet the curricular requirements, you can also attend other Master’s degree courses (e.g. Robotics and Automation Engineering, LM-25) without coursework debts.
