The Living Lab of the DETAILLs project is an environment in which students, lecturers and companies collaborate to design sustainable products using tools based on generative Artificial Intelligence. This laboratory offers the opportunity to address real-world challenges in the field of sustainability, combining innovation with educational development.
By taking part in the Living Lab, students will have the opportunity to apply innovative AI-driven design methods, tackle challenges proposed by companies and actively contribute to sustainable innovation.
Companies, for their part, will benefit from access to advanced design methods and from collaborating with young talent to develop sustainable solutions.
Lecturers and researchers involved in the initiative will have the opportunity to develop and deliver innovative courses, enhancing their digital and pedagogical skills.
The Living Lab represents an open innovation ecosystem, user-centred and based on a systematic co-creation approach, integrating research and innovation processes in real-life conditions. This approach makes it possible to test innovations and technologies in real-life settings, actively involving users in the innovation process and fostering cooperation among policymakers, industry, universities and civil society from an open innovation perspective.
