With the Post-maternity Research Grant the University of Pisa wishes to offer financial support to the University’s research staff when they resume their professional activity following the period of compulsory maternity or alternative paternity leave.
The envisaged grant of EUR 10,000 must be used for research activities and is allocated directly to the relevant structure of those entitled to it.
Recipients of the post-maternity research grant are those who will return to service, during the reference year, from the period of compulsory maternity leave or alternative paternity leave. The grant also provided in the case of adoption or fostering of minors. It should be noted that the period of alternative paternity leave and those of adoption or fostering must be equivalent to the five months of compulsory maternity leave required to access the grant.
