The Region of Tuscany invests in talent and advanced training to strengthen the human capital of its territory and promote employability, while supporting applied research.
Funding is awarded through a public call for proposals, issued periodically by the Region of Tuscany, in which universities and research institutions are invited to participate in collaboration with public or private entities that are part of the region’s economic fabric.
The call for proposals, co-funded by the Regional Program (PR) of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) 2021–2027, is part of Giovanisì, the Region of Tuscany’s project for youth autonomy.
The 2024 Research Call funded 24-month scholarships and research grants focused on research in the field of culture and cultural heritage, as identified in the Regional Smart Specialization Strategy (S3). The funded research projects involved collaboration between research organizations and other public or private entities
