Inclinados hacia América Latina is a a project created to promote the University of Pisa in the Latin American continent and to facilitate the reception of Latin American citizens interested in the second-level educational offer of the University, through the provision of a scholarship
Who can apply for the scholarship
Exclusively Latin American nationals with a university degree compatible with the academic offer of the University of Pisa.

Bachelor’s Degree in Management for Business and Economics, in English, duration 3 years.

Non-EU citizens residing abroad who wish to enrol at the University of Pisa for the academic year 2024-2025 must complete the ministerial pre-enrolment through the UniversItaly portal.

The project Mobility CONFAP-ITALY (MCI II) aims to facilitate and support effective collaboration between CONFAP (Conselho Nacional das Fundações de Amparo à Pesquisa) and the Italian Network for Scientific and Technological Cooperation and Innovation, through mobility between Italy and Brazil of PhD students, postgraduate degree students (Mestrado students, for thesis research) and post-doc students.
Currently, the Italian Network includes 22 universities and a research centre, all working in collaboration with CONFAP. The University of Bologna is the coordinating partner of the Italian Network.
To participate, applicants must reside in Brazil. Those who already live or study in Europe will not be admitted.
How to apply
Opportunities with Italian universities that are part of the Network are published on the MCI website. For information on further research collaborations, you can directly contact the MCI Network.
Brazilian State Funding Agencies (FAPs) may require proposals to be submitted on their platform as well: applicants should check directly with their FAP.
For the 2025 call applications must be submitted by 25 April 2025, through the CONFAP platform.

Selection Criteria
All applications will be evaluated through a peer review process conducted by each of the participating FAPs, according to the following criteria:
Research fields
All the disciplinary areas of the university: Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, Humanities, Engineering, Medicine and Pharmacy, Legal, Economic and Social Sciences, Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences.
Language
The language proficiency level required for each individual mobility will be published in the academic offer. In most cases, English will be the required language.
