Within the PhD Programme in Philosophy – Ethics, Politics and Religions curriculum, an international Double Degree Programme has been established from the academic year 2022/2023. The programme allows PhD candidates to obtain both the PhD in Philosophy from the University of Pisa and the PhD in Religious Studies from the Faculty of Theology of Lugano (Switzerland).
To activate the international pathway, candidates must follow the procedure for the Joint PhD Supervision.
As part of this procedure, PhD candidates are required to spend at least nine months abroad over the three-year programme.
