Starting from the academic year 2025/2026, the Degree Course in Physics at the University of Pisa has reactivated an international Double Degree Programme with the École Polytechnique in Palaiseau (France). This programme allows selected students to obtain both the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Physics from the University of Pisa and the “Diplôme d’ingénieur – Ingénieur Polytechnicien” and “Diplôme de l’École Polytechnique” from École Polytechnique.
To obtain the double degree, students enrolled in the Bachelor’s Degree Course in Physics at the University of Pisa must spend the second semester of the third year of the Bachelor’s Degree Course and the following two academic years at École Polytechnique, during which they will also complete the first year of the Master’s Degree Course in Physics.
