Erasmus incoming

Erasmus+ is the EU programme supporting education, training, youth and sport in Europe.

The 2021-2027 programme focuses on social inclusion, ecological and digital transition, and the promotion of young people’s participation in democratic life.

Erasmus+ supports student and staff mobility by fostering opportunities for cooperation among universities across Europe.

The University of Pisa, through its Erasmus Charter (2021-2027), participates in the Erasmus+ programme and welcomes students for study exchange projects organised with one of its partner institutions or through an agreed traineeship programme.

Studying in Pisa with Erasmus +

If you are interested in undertaking an Erasmus study period at the University of Pisa, you must first check if there is an active institutional agreement between your university and our departments.

Contact your home institution to inquire about any existing agreement with the University of Pisa and to obtain information on the application procedure. Next, contact the Erasmus coordinator of the department you are interested in.

Participating in a traineeship programme in Pisa with Erasmus +

For the Erasmus traineeship programme, an Institutional Agreement between your University and the departments of the University of Pisa is not required. Our departments can manage all administrative procedures and provide you with support throughout your stay.

Contact the Erasmus coordinator of the relevant department directly to check their interest and, if positive, discuss the details of the traineeship programme.
