The Italian Scientists & Scholars in North America Foundation (ISSNAF), with which the University has recently renewed a cooperation agreement and an operational agreement, has launched a call for applications to take part in a mentoring programme aimed at students and doctoral candidates interested in going to North America for potential study, work or research opportunities.
ISSNAF is a prestigious non-profit organisation founded in 2007 by 36 scientists, four of whom are Nobel laureates. It works actively to connect early-career researchers from Italy with its network of scholars in North America. To this end, it organises events to promote networking opportunities and facilitates academic, scientific and technological cooperation between Italy and North America, with the aim of increasing the visibility and standing of Italian research in the region.
The deadline for applications is 15 November 2025.
Applications must be submitted by following the instructions on this page: ISSNAF – Mentoring Program for Students.
