International students may be eligible for a reduction of the annual university tuition fees. There are two ways to obtain a reduced tuition fee:

If your income and assets are located outside Italy, you are automatically assigned a flat-rate tuition fee based on your country of origin.
The applicable tuition fee is determined by applying a coefficient, based on the World Bank income classification of your country, to the maximum annual tuition fee of €2,900.

Students may apply to have their annual tuition fees calculated on the basis of their ISEEU Parificato.

To apply for the tuition fee reduction based on ISEEU parificato, students must:
First-year non-EU students requiring a study visa
Non-EU students requiring a study visa may enrol for the 2026-2027 academic year and apply for the tuition fee reduction by 31 December 2026, with no late application fee.
First-year EU and EU-equivalent students and students enrolled in subsequent years
Applications for the tuition fee reduction must be submitted by 2 November 2026.
Applications submitted after this deadline are accepted subject to the following late application fees:
