The Postgraduate Degree Course provides advanced, highly specialised training for medical practitioners wishing to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in robot-assisted minimally invasive thoracic surgery.
The course explores thoracic anatomy, clinical indications and the latest surgical techniques, with particular emphasis on patient safety and the optimisation of surgical outcomes. Training combines lectures, simulation-based learning and practical training, fostering critical thinking and equipping participants with the skills required to critically appraise the scientific literature and engage in research in the field of robot-assisted thoracic surgery.
