The Postgraduate Degree Course trains highly specialised technical professionals with advanced expertise in breast pathology, addressing the increasing complexity of the diagnostic and therapeutic pathway for breast cancer and meeting the standards required by certified Breast Units.
The course provides advanced knowledge and practical skills to support breast pathology practice, including specimen sampling and gross examination, intraoperative procedures, cytopathology, predictive biomarker assessment, molecular pathology, digital pathology and artificial intelligence, biobanking, traceability, quality assurance and laboratory accreditation.
The course addresses the need to standardise diagnostic processes, reduce reporting turnaround times and implement innovative technologies in breast pathology.

The Postgraduate Degree Course prepares professionals to work in pathology and oncological molecular pathology laboratories, certified Breast Units, biobanks, Scientific Institutes for Research, Hospitalisation and Healthcare (IRCCS), clinical research centres, and companies operating in the diagnostic and biomedical sectors.

Regular students:
2500 € payable in 3 instalments

- 750 € no later than 15 April 2027
- 750 € no later than 15 June 2027
Auditing students:
1000 € in a single installment
Registration fee reductions are available for 2 students as specified in the call for applications.
