The Postgraduate Degree Course prepares specialists to support the digital transformation of the agricultural sector through a curriculum designed to provide knowledge and skills in:
- the principles, concepts and terminology of digital agriculture;
- the main technological solutions for digital agriculture and their evolution;
- the effective use of digital agriculture tools; interaction with technology providers and developers to design and select innovative applications;
- the assessment of the socio-economic impact of digital technologies.
The course is intended for graduates from ICT, agricultural and veterinary degree programmes.
Dedicated learning pathways, including e-learning courses, laboratory activities and study sessions, will be developed and included in the AGRITECH EU catalogue to enable graduates from non-ICT backgrounds to acquire the knowledge required for more specialised subjects.
Career opportunities
The Postgraduate Degree Course adopts a multi-actor approach and promotes a multidisciplinary community bringing together universities, research organisations, SMEs, private companies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and development agencies. Its objective is to prepare specialists capable of supporting the sustainable introduction of digital technologies in agricultural and agri-food businesses.
Fees
Regular students:
4000 € payable in 3 instalments
- 1600 € no later than 08 January 2027
- 400 € no later than 15 April 2027
- 2000 € no later than 15 June 2027
Auditing students:
2000 € in a single installment
Registration fee reductions are available for 30 students as specified in the call for applications.
