Life Sciences ~ UNIPI

The PhD in Life Sciences, coordinated by the University of Siena in partnership with the Universities of Florence and Pisa and the CNR–IBE, is a three-year programme starting on 1 November 2024.

The programme is structured into two curricula:

Biodiversity and Conservation, which trains specialists in evolutionary and ecological mechanisms related to biodiversity and the management of human-altered environments.
Cellular Biology, Pathophysiology and Pharmacology, which focuses on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying diseases, and on the interaction of drugs and vaccines with living organisms.

Pegaso scholarships are available, funded through the PR FSE 2021–2027 programme as part of the Giovanisì initiative of the Regione Toscana.
