Project Description
The PhD in Biology promotes the training of young graduates selected on merit, offering an internationally oriented research pathway designed to develop high-level expertise in the biological field and support career development. The programme encourages interaction among research centres, universities, industry and the public sector.
In addition to research, PhD candidates will attend the following specialised courses:
The programme is further enriched by the monthly seminar series Advances in Biology, held in English by international experts, and by interdisciplinary courses offered by the University of Pisa to develop linguistic, statistical and IT skills. Opportunities for cross-disciplinary exchange are also offered through initiatives such as the Contamination Lab and Career Labs for Doc.
