The degree course in Audiometric Techniques is a qualifying course that trains professionals in the technical-diagnostic and the technical-assistance fields who carry out, with professional autonomy, the technical procedures required for performing diagnostic techniques on individuals, i.e. technical assistance activities.
The programme includes a solid preparation in fundamental disciplines, such as medicine, physics, statistics, chemistry and biology. This background allows students to deeply understand the main pathological processes that occur throughout the different life stages—from childhood to adulthood and geriatric age—on which their diagnostic intervention focuses.
Professional skills are developed through theoretical and practical training, which also includes the acquisition of behavioural skills. Importance is given to practical training and traineeship activities, which are an integral and qualifying part of professional training, carried out under the supervision and guidance of professional tutors.
