At Teatro Verdi, students of the University of Pisa are entitled to a 50% discount on ticket prices for all seating categories (excluding the second gallery) and on season subscriptions for opera, drama and dance, thanks to the agreement between the University of Pisa and the Fondazione Teatro di Pisa, of which the University is a member.
Under the agreement, valid until 2026, the two institutions undertake to collaborate to promote culture and education for the benefit of the University and the wider community.
Students will be able to take part in lectures and cultural activities led by theatre staff, with the possibility of earning academic credits. The University, through its faculty members, undertakes to organise educational activities at the theatre’s venues, such as seminars or meetings on drama productions, intended for students and open to the public within the limits of available seating.
