The Excelsior Information System, created in 1997 through a collaboration between Unioncamere and the Ministry of Labour, is a tool designed to understand the evolution of the labour market in Italy. Through rigorous and continuous surveys, it analyses the employment needs of more than 1.3 million companies and provides an up-to-date overview of career trends. The data collected allow students, institutions and companies to understand the most sought-after skills and facilitate the demand-supply matching.
