Alberto Pardossi (born in Pontedera on 4 December 1958)

1983: Degree (cum laude) in Agricultural Sciences (1983) at the University of Pisa.

1989: PhD in Horticulture (1989) at the University of Pisa.

1991: visiting young scientist at the School of Biological Sciences, University of Wales, Bangor,UK.

1988-1998: Research Assistant at the University of Pisa.

1998-2001: Associate Professor of Vegetable and Flower Crops at the University of Milan.

1998-2001: Associate Professor of Vegetable and Flower Crops at the University of Pisa.

2012-: Full Professor of Vegetable and Flower Crops at the University of Pisa.

Reviewer for several international scientific journals, including Scientia Horticulturae, Agricultural Water Management, and the Italian Journal of Agronomy, among others.
