Invest your talent in Italy is a programme promoted by MAECI that offers Italian companies the opportunity to employ foreign talents, trained in Italy and coming from potential markets of interest.
The programme requires that the selected foreign students undertake in-person training in the classroom at one of the participating universities, including the University of Pisa, which in December 2024 signed the letter of commitment for the 10th edition (academic year 2025/2026). The academic programme must be completed with a traineeship period in a company of an indicative duration of three months.
There are scholarships offered by public and private partners to encourage the most deserving students, amounting to around EUR 9,000 per year. Scholarship holders are also granted exemption from tuition fees.
The promoting entities (MAECI; ICE – Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalisation of Italian companies; Uni-Italia) also establish a Technical Committee, which will ensure:
- selection and management of applications, both from the Italian companies involved and from foreign students, coming from the following countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Colombia, South Korea, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mexico, People’s Republic of China, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam;
- support for students with entry procedures in Italy;
- monitoring of academic performance.
