Sustainability Report and Sustainability Rankings

Sustainability Reports

The University of Pisa periodically publishes its Sustainability Report, which is an important tool for transparency for all stakeholders.

The Report is a biennial document that systematically presents the University’s initiatives and results.

The following areas are monitored:

Educational and cultural activities are also promoted, such as the cross-disciplinary course on the 2030 Agenda and awareness-raising initiatives organised by CoSA and the Vice-Rector for Sustainability, with the aim of encouraging the entire University community to engage with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Sustainability Rankings

Translating sustainability into action requires reliable data and tools. Robust statistics are essential for monitoring the university’s performance and participating in international rankings on social and environmental impact, such as the Times Higher Education and QS Sustainability Rankings.

Systematic data analysis enables us to assess the University’s performance across different dimensions of sustainability — such as environmental impact, energy efficiency, social engagement and governance — to monitor progress over time and to identify areas for improvement.

You can consult our results in the THE and QS Sustainability Rankings on the University’s Data and Surveys page.
