The ‘Giovanni and Iva Cantini Scholarship Foundation’ awards scholarships to deserving students in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, preferably natives of the municipalities of Pomarance or Cecina.
It was established on 06.11.1946, and acquired legal personality by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 1812 of 24.12.1951 and subsequently by Prefectural Decree No. 1054/08 of 27.11.2008.
The Foundation Statute is currently being revised.
