Attracting Young International Talents
We invest in the future of research by actively seeking to bring the most promising young talents from across Europe and beyond to Pisa. To this end, we provide specialized support for the preparation of proposals for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF). We believe in the value of excellent ideas and directly fund MSCA-PF projects submitted with the University of Pisa as the host institution which, while not selected for EU funding, have been awarded the prestigious Seal of Excellence – MSCA Actions.

Participation in ERC Calls
We support the scientific ambition and the groundbreaking ideas of our researchers—as well as those who want to join the University of Pisa’s research community. We accompany them in the preparation of proposals for the European Research Council (ERC) calls, offering tailored and specialised support for the three funding schemes: Starting, Consolidator and Advanced.

Support for Returning from Maternity Leave
We support female professors and researchers at our University during the critical phase of returning from maternity leave. A dedicated research grant is available, which can be freely used to support scientific activities, helping to ensure a full and productive restart of their research.
