Withdrawal from PhD ~ UNIPI

PhD candidates may withdraw either:

from the PhD scholarship only, while remaining enrolled in the programme, or
from the PhD programme, terminating their enrolment

Withdrawal from the PhD scholarship

PhD candidates who receive a scholarship may decide to renounce the scholarship while continuing their PhD studies.

The withdrawal takes effect from the date indicated in the request form and cannot be earlier than the submission date.

Upload the completed withdrawal form “RIN-b” available at the bottom of this page

The request will be processed by the PhD Admissions and Careers Unit.

PhD candidates may withdraw from the PhD programme at any time.

Fill out and upload the withdrawal form (RIN-s) available at the bottom of this page, your ID document and a copy of your Internship logbook, if any

Before submitting the withdrawal request:

PhD candidates must be up to date with their tuition fee payments
If the fee position is irregular, the withdrawal procedure cannot be completed
Candidates who withdraw must still pay the regional tax for the current enrolment year
Once the withdrawal is completed, it is not possible to reactivate the PhD career
The candidate may enrol again only by participating in a new PhD admission competition
