About Circle U. ~ UNIPI

The University of Pisa is part of Circle U., a European University Alliance that includes eight other universities across Europe.

Circle U.’s shared mission is to strengthen the links between education, research, innovation, and society in order to address today’s and tomorrow’s major global challenges. The Alliance focuses on four key themes: Democracy, Global Health, Climate, and Artificial Intelligence.

The Circle U. network brings together nearly half a million students and around 65,000 academic and administrative staff members.

Circle U.’s educational offering is promoted through the Open Campus a virtual university space where students, faculty, and administrative/technical staff can explore the various opportunities developed within the Alliance.
