L’incontro fa parte del ciclo 2025-26 dal titolo “International Webinars in Nuclear Energy”. Il ciclo è organizzato nell’ambito del progetto ENEN2plus, dell’European Nuclear Education Network.
Luca Ferrante is a senior manager in the nuclear sector with 20 years of experience across the full lifecycle of nuclear projects, including design, procurement, manufacturing, construction, turnover, and commissioning. He has been involved in major nuclear construction and refurbishment programs such as MO34 and Hinkley Point C (HPC). He is currently working on the refurbishment of the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station with Ontario Power Generation (OPG), where he is responsible for critical scopes including reactor building dome opening and steam generator replacement for Units 5 to 8. Luca is the Founder of N/A – Nuclear Advisory, an independent nuclear consultancy established to support owners, EPCs, and supply-chain organizations in delivering nuclear projects safely, efficiently, and in full regulatory compliance. Through N/A, he supports organizations in preparing for and executing nuclear projects, with hands-on involvement in quality management, supply-chain qualification, and cross-functional coordination across engineering, construction, HSE, and project control. Alongside his project activities, Luca regularly lectures on quality and nuclear project delivery at universities in Italy and the UK, including Milan, Rome, Bologna, Pisa, and Bristol. He is also an active member of GiovaniBlu, contributing to initiatives aimed at improving public awareness and informed discussion on nuclear energy and the broader energy transition.
