L’incontro fa parte del ciclo 2025-26 dal titolo “International Webinars in Nuclear Energy”. Il ciclo è organizzato nell’ambito del progetto ENEN2plus, dell’European Nuclear Education Network.
Dr. Magnus Mori, Head of Advanced Fuel, Commercial, Urenco Dr. Magnus Mori joined Urenco’s Commercial team in 2017 and is now leading the company’s commercial strategy to deliver products and services for advanced fuels. Nuclear energy has been Magnus’ passion from age seven, when he first saw the blue glow of Cherenkov’s radiation in a documentary. Today he is the Head of Advanced Fuel, Commercial at Urenco. Magnus has over 25 years of experience in the nuclear sector, where he has held a wide variety of roles ranging from nuclear regulations and licensing to new build and operations, from research and development to leadership and management. He is an active voice advocating for nuclear energy and its role in decarbonising the world’s energy supply – having held numerous lectures and presentations, and having published dozen of articles on technical and nuclear supply chain related topics. Before joining Urenco, Magnus worked at E.ON Nuclear Power in Germany and France for about ten years. There he managed the company’s interface function with the World Association of Nuclear Operators, where he’d previously lead the creation and management of the Technology Group, establishing a technical competence centre at WANO. He also held various roles in E.ON’s nuclear new build department primarily focusing on vendor assessment, design reviews and licensing. Magnus holds a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Pisa in Italy, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart in Germany.
