Students will have the opportunity to attend lessons on the history of research into the main classes (Italian, Gallic, African, and Eastern Terra Sigillata), on common and cooking wares and on the most widely distributed types of Roman amphorae.
The greater part of the hours will then be dedicated to practical activities involving the classification of ceramics from both an archaeological (typology, function) and archaeometric (production methods, provenance) perspective.
