MAIN RESEARCH PROJECTS / ACTIVITIES / LABS
R. Lo Frano was/is the scientific referees of European projects and contracts at national and international levels, such as the AdP MSE-ENEA, Nucleco project on 380l packaging, Sogin service activity for packaging qualification, Type A container- Comecer, EU FP6 ELSY, EU FP7 LEADER, EU FP7 ESNII+, EU FP7 PETRUS III, H2020 NARSIS, H2020 PREDIS, Horizon Europe OPERA HPC, MSCA4U, CANGARU project (in collaboration with University of Southern California), progetto CN1-Spoke 6-Flagship 4.2 etc.
CURRENT RESEARCH FIELDS
Her research activity, documented by more than 70 publications on Intl. Journals and Proceedings of Intl., refers mainly to the safety and structural design of nuclear plants and structure, system, and components, LTO and ageing of nuclear components and materials, safety behaviour of NPP plants subjected to external/internal accident event, RWs characterization, monitoring and transport, analysis and characterization of nuclear structures and materials. Research investigation covers the fission and fusion field.
