1995-2009. He worked with colleagues of the Earth Sciences Department of Pisa on Litostratigraphy and Biostratigraphy (by means of calcareous nannofossils) of Mesozoic Ligurian and Tuscan Succession (CARG PROJECT: Fogli Pontremoli, Fivizzano, Castelnuovo Garfagnana, Pistoia and the Fogli Neviano degli Arduini, Bargagli, Bedonia, at scale 1.50.000)

Since the 2004 he is working with Dr. Rita Catanzariti on Litostratigraphy and Biostratigraphy (by means of calcareous nannofossils) of Mesozoic (External Ligurids) and Cenozoic (Subligurian Unit and Tuscan Units) succession cropping out in the Northern Apennines. This collaboration is still ongoing.

Since the 2006 he is working with Prof. Nieves-Lopez and Dr. Otto Kalin of the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain) on Biostratigraphy (by means of calcareous nannofossils) of Cenozoic succession cropping out in the Oliana Area (Catalunya, N Spain). This collaboration is still ongoing.
