MAIN RESEARCH TOPICS
- Genetic and epigenetic control of gene expression in brain and retina of Xenopus and zebrafish.
- Role of chromatin remodelers in neurodevelopmental disorders and during brain aging process.
- Generating disease models for neural developmental disorders and aging in zebrafish to unravel the molecular bases underlying these processes.
-Establishing gene therapy and pharmacological approaches to rescue or ameliorate the phenotypes of the generated disease animal models.
