RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
Major research interests:
- Ecophysiological and biochemical responses of plants to oxidative stress induced by biotic/abiotic factors
- Innovative applications for plant pathology and tree stability in urban environment
- Biomonitoring of air quality with vascular plants
- Application of controlled stress factors to prime specific plant defence mechanisms
The scientific activity is documented by around 110 papers, of which more than 80 are published in international peer-reviewed journals (H-index 29; Scopus, Nov 2024), as well as more than 20 presentations delivered at national and international conferences (also as invited-speaker), and the involvement in national and international research projects.
Reviewer of many peer-reviewed journals.
