• 2001 – Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Università degli Studi di Pisa. vote 104/110 with an experimental Thesis: “Use of pregnant mares as embryo recipients” (supervisor, Prof. Francesco Camillo)
• 2001 – Won a place ad PhD Student in “Veterinary Medicine” (D.R. N° 01-942 of the 2nd of August 2001 and integrated with D.R. N° 01-1070 of the 24th od September 2001 and D.R. N°01-1138 of the 1st October of 2001), with a grant.
• 2002 – Abilitation to the Veterinary practice, vote: 103/120
• 2002-2005 – (01/01/2002-12/31/2004: Follow the activities of the PhD school of "Veterinary Medicine" and doing his research and clinical activity in the diciplinary area VET10 “Clinica ostetrica e ginecologia veterinaria”, in the equine and donkey reproduction field.
• 2003 (from 03/15 to 09/30) – Externship at the Equine Reproduction Lab of the Animal Reproduction And Biotechnology Laboratory of the Colorado State University (Ft. Collins, Colorado, USA) as Research Scholar, working in the gamete transfer in the mare and full time cohoperating at the scientific and clinical activities of the team.
• 2005 – (05/13/2005) Became PhD witha Thesis: “Reproductiive techniques in the mare: Use of one-year-old fillies a; clinical aplication of an embryo trasfer program in the horse”
• 2005 – (04/01/2005) Won a grant: “Study on the reproductive characteristics and semen and embryo preservation of the Amiata donkey breed”
• 2005 - (07/11/2005) Won a non tenure assistant professor position at the Dipartimento di Clinica veterinaria in the scientific Area VET/10 “Clinica ostetrica e ginecologia veterinaria” for the research: Assisted reproduction in the equids: embryo transfer in the horse and donkey.
• 09/15/2005 – 09/15/2008: As a non tenured assistant professor works at the Dipartimento di Clinica veterinaria in the scientific area VET/10 “Clinica ostetrica e ginecologia veterinaria” in the horse and donkey reproduction field.
• 10/23/2008 - Won a tenure track position as assistant professor (Assistant professor in the US) in the scientific area VET/10 " Clinica Ostetrica e Ginecologia Veterinaria " at the former Veterinary Medicine Faculty of the Pisa University, nowadays Dipartimento di Scienze Veterinarie
• 12/31/2008- today: works at the VET10 “Clinica ostetrica e ginecologia veterinaria” in the scientific area VET/10 “Clinica ostetrica e ginecologia veterinaria” in the horse and donkey reproduction field.
• 10/30/2017: Associate Professor at the Department of Veterinary Clinic in the scientific field VET/10 "Veterinary Obstetric Clinic and Gynecology with D.R. n. 55442
