Venerdì 20 marzo, alle ore 15.00, Amparo Giner González (Westinghouse, Spain) terrà il seminario online dal titolo “Advanced Technology Fuels: Material, Experiments and Computational Modelling for SMRs and Large LWRs“.
L’incontro fa parte del ciclo 2025-26 dal titolo “International Webinars in Nuclear Energy”. Il ciclo è organizzato nell’ambito del progetto ENEN2plus, dell’European Nuclear Education Network.
Amparo Giner González is the Operation & Technical Training Manager at Westinghouse, with over 16 years of experience in the nuclear industry, primarily focused on training and operations. She received the Senior Reactor Operator Training to be qualified as certified instructor for PWR nuclear power plant operators, both in initial and continuous training, and a full-scope simulator expert for Vandellós and Almaraz NPPs. Her international experience includes collaboration with the Spanish Nuclear Regulator and projects in the UAE, China, South Africa, and Slovenia. Currently, she manages a diverse team of around 40 instructors across the U.S. and Spain, reinforcing her leadership in technical and operational training within the nuclear sector.
