Giovedì 13 novembre, alle ore 13.00, sarà possibile assistere online alla keynote di Eivind Engebretsen (Dean of Circle U. Open Campus) dal titolo “Bridging the Knowledge-to-Action Gap: The Role of Translational Medical Humanities”, che si svolgerà presso la Aarhus University.

L’evento è organizzato dal BRIGHT network nell’ambito dell’Alleanza Universitaria Circle U.

The lecture discusses the role of translational medical humanities, arguing that the challenge of translating knowledge into action in healthcare traditionally has been addressed through scientific frameworks such as implementation science and knowledge translation. The lecture explores the important role that the humanities can play in meeting this challenge, proposing a translational medical humanities approach to complement and enhance translational medical science.

The BRIGHT network is a group of researchers working within the field of social science and humanities in health at Aarhus University. The objective of BRIGHT is to be a state-of-the-art hub for medical humanities research and education on clinical medicine at Aarhus University and the Central Denmark Region.
