• Teacher of the following courses of the Master degree in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Pisa: “Physical principles of the nuclear engineering” and “Radiation Protection”.
• Teacher for the laboratory sessions of the courses "Nuclear measurements" (Master degree in Nuclear Engineering) and "Bioengineering of radiations" (Master degree in Biomedical Engineering) at the University of Pisa.

• October 2022: PhD in Nuclear Engineering (Safety of Nuclear Power Plants) at the University of Pisa, Department of Nuclear, Mechanical and Production Engineering. Title of the thesis: “Atomistic simulation of the grain boundary segregation in metallic alloys”.
• March 1998: Master Degree in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Pisa. Title of the thesis: “A boundary element method in neutron transport theory in a quasi-diffusive approximation”.
• January 2023: 1st level international Master Course on "Protection Against CBRNe events (Base level)", academic year 2019/2020-2020/2021.

SCIENTIFIC / ACADEMIC POSITIONS - AFFILIATIONS
• President of the Curriculum in “Nuclear Engineering and Industrial Safety” of the Ph. D. Course in Industrial Engineering at the University of Pisa (since November 2019).
• Responsible of research and didactic activity of the Nuclear Measurements Laboratory of the Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering of the University of Pisa.
• Responsible for the quality management system, according to the ISO 9001 standard, for dosimetric and radiometric measurements of the Nuclear Measurements Laboratory of the University of Pisa.
• Scientific director of the Dosimetry service of the University of Pisa.
• Qualification as Radiation Protection Expert, Level 3, N. 858, in the Italian Ministry of Labour list.
• Assignment of the task of Radiation Protection Expert for the physical surveillance (second level) of the structures of the University of Pisa (since January 2021).
• Affiliations to the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN), Pisa section (since January 2017).
• Reviewer for several international scientific journals.
