Circle U.
The University of Pisa is member of Circle U., an European University Alliance which includes 8 other prestigious European universities.
Since its launch in November 2020, the alliance partners have been cooperating with the goal of creating an inclusive, interdisciplinary and strongly research-oriented European University by 2025.
The University of Pisa pays particular attention to gender policies, with the aim of promoting equality and creating an inclusive and safe environment. Through tools such as the Gender Equality Plan, the Gender Balance and the Affirmative Action Plan, the University monitors and supports gender equality in all areas.
Sustainable Development and 2030 Agenda
The University of Pisa focuses its actions and strategic choices on the objectives of the 2030 UN Agenda.
Since 2020, the University’s Commission for Sustainable Development (CoSA) has been created to work on several key areas for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
