Initial Teacher Training
The University of Pisa offers several training pathways for those who wish to pursue a career in teaching.
- The Degree Course in Primary Education Sciences, which qualifies graduates to teach in nursery and primary schools
- Initial teacher training programmes for lower and upper secondary school teachers
- Specialisation course for learning support teachers
In-service Teacher Training
School–University collaboration is a fundamental component for the cultural development of the country.
Within this framework, in-service teacher training plays a particularly important role.
It is our conviction that both schools and universities can benefit mutually from dialogue and exchange.
