Initial Teacher Training
The University of Pisa offers several training pathways for those who wish to pursue a career in teaching.
- The Degree Course in Primary Education Sciences, which qualifies graduates to teach in nursery and primary schools
- Initial teacher training programmes for lower and upper secondary school teachers
- Specialisation course for learning support teachers
In-service Teacher Training
The University is recognised by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) as an accredited institution for the professional development of school staff.
