Daniele Rossi is an Associate Professor in Electronics with the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Pisa. Prior to that, he was a Senior Lecturer in Electronics at the University of Hertfordshire (August 2017-August 2019), Senior Lecturer with the Department of Engineering at the University of Westminster (August 2016-August 2017), and until August 2016, he worked as a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Electronics and Computer Science of the University of Southampton on an EPSRC funded project. Until August 2014, he was with the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering and with Advanced Research Center for Electronic Systems at the University of Bologna, Italy. He received a Laurea Degree in Electronic Engineering and a PhD in Electronics and Computer Engineer from the University of Bologna in 2001 and 2005, respectively. His research interests include design for reliability and energy efficiency for digital circuits and systems, design for test, hardware security, fault modelling and fault tolerance. He has co-authored more than 100 papers published in leading international journals and conference proceedings. Dr Rossi has been involved as either PI, Co-I or Named Researcher in many research projects in collaboration with world leading companies in the area of electronic circuits and systems design, including Intel, Arm, STMicroelectronics, NXP and TI, and holds one international patent. He is currently serving as Associate Editor/Editorial Board Member for the international journals IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing, Journal of Low Power Electronics and Applications and Electronics. He is a member of the Technical Program Committee of several international conferences in the field of electronic design and test and Senior Member of IEEE.
