Starting from the academic year 2023/2024, the Master’s Degree Course in Biotechnologies and Applied Artificial Intelligence for Health at the University of Pisa has established an international Double Degree Programme with Aix-Marseille Université. This programme enables selected students to obtain a Master’s Degree in AI and Health jointly awarded by the University of Pisa and Aix-Marseille Université.
The double degree programme has been developed within the framework of the European project “Advanced Digital Skills Programme – Artificial Intelligence and Health” (AI and Health – Project No. 101083880), funded by the European Commission under the DIGITAL EUROPE – Call Advanced Digital Skills: DIGITAL-2021-SKILLS-01-SPECIALISED action. To obtain the double degree, students enrolled in the Master’s Degree Course in AI and Health at the University of Pisa must spend the first and second semesters of the second year at Aix-Marseille Université, where they will carry out their training activities and complete their Master’s Degree thesis under the supervision of a professor from Aix-Marseille Université.
