Transfer to another university

To transfer to another university, you must submit a transfer request from 24 July to 31 December 2025:

To make your request effective, you must pay the EUR 16 virtual stamp duty.
The PagoPA payment slip will be available in your reserved area after you have submitted the transfer request.

To complete the transfer procedure, you must pay EUR 200 in administrative charges via PagoPA. These charges are not due if you have already paid the first instalment for the current academic year.

In the case of a transfer from a regulated-admission degree course, the student loses the right to reconnect or reactivate their academic record at the University of Pisa for the same program, unless they are once again placed in an eligible position in the corresponding admission competition.

Requests submitted after 31 December 2025

For requests submitted after 31 December 2025, the transfer may be approved by managerial order only in the presence of serious and documented reasons. In this case, you must pay the first instalment and any instalments that have fallen due by the date of submission of the request.

The academic career of students who have submitted a transfer request will be re-activated at the University of Pisa ex officio if:

In these cases, the due date of the first instalment, where payable, is set at 30 days from the reactivation of the career (as per the Regulations on university contributions academic year 2025/2026).

Students whose career is reactivated after submitting a transfer request to another university after 31 December 2025 must pay EUR 250 in administrative charges.
