Degree, post-degree and professional qualification certificates are mainly delivered by insured post to the address indicated by the applicant under “Document delivery address” in the Alice portal.
Some Departments have introduced an on-the-spot delivery service for degree certificates at the time of graduation. This applies to the following: Pharmacy, Computer Science, Engineering (Bachelor’s degrees only), Mathematics, Earth Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Law and Physics.
For certificates relating to post-degree courses, where Departments hold special graduation ceremonies (for example for certain PhD programmes or postgraduate courses), recipients will be notified by e-mail.
To ensure efficient service, it is important to report any changes promptly through your personal page on the Alice portal: under “Personal data”, you can update your address independently.
Degree certificates issued before 2002 that have not been collected, and those issued after 2002 that were not delivered due to incorrect addresses or returned by the postal service, may be collected in person (or by an authorised person with written authorisation and a valid identity document) at the Degree Certificates Office – Student Services Section – Building E, Largo Bruno Pontecorvo 3, Pisa.
To collect your certificate, you must make an appointment by writing to diplomi@unipi.it or patrizio.serani@unipi.it.
For certificates returned for postal reasons, a second shipment may be requested by contacting the same e-mail addresses.
Degree certificates still pending collection must be picked up by the recipients (or their delegates); a €16.00 revenue stamp is required. Alternatively, the diploma can be sent by mail to the recipient’s home address by writing to diplomi@unipi.it.
Qualifications obtained from 2006 to 2018
Certificates were sent to the last address communicated to the University. If not received, please contact diplomi@unipi.it.
Qualifications obtained in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023
Certificates must be produced directly by the Ministry of Universities and Research. Once received by the University, they will be personalised and sent out.
To request a temporary replacement certificate, send an e-mail to esamidistato@unipi.it, attaching a copy of your identity document.
All applicants are strongly advised to check the accuracy of their personal data on the Alice portal, particularly their full address (including house number and postcode), telephone number and personal e-mail address, ensuring they are correctly entered or added if missing. For any clarifications, please contact diplomi@unipi.it.
