The postgraduate degree course trains professionals who can plan, manage and evaluate integrated health promotion actions in the workplace, while ensuring compliance with required quality and competence standards.
Through a multidisciplinary approach, it provides specific tools and knowledge for the management and planning of Workplace Health Promotion (WHP) initiatives, targeting professionals such as doctors, prevention technicians, healthcare assistants, occupational psychologists, professional nurses, and other professionals involved in promoting health in the workplace.
The postgraduate degree course equips students with the skills necessary to effectively address the planning, management and evaluation phases of health promotion initiatives, ensuring compliance with the standards defined by leading international organisations. Its aim is to explore communication techniques — now essential in health prevention and promotion policies — and to strengthen cross-sector collaboration for concrete application of the One Health and Total Health Worker principles.
Career opportunities
The postgraduate degree course trains operators who will be involved in:
- health promotion activities in the workplace (doctors, prevention technicians, healthcare assistants, occupational psychologists, professional nurses, etc.)
- activities involving the planning, management and evaluation of integrated actions for health promotion in the workplace, ensuring compliance with the standards set by major reference organisations/institutions (WHO, ENWHP, NIOSH, IUHPE).
