The postgraduate degree course Medicina termale e Idrologia medica trains professionals to work in the field of prevention and selection of the most appropriate therapeutic interventions in thermal medicine and medical hydrology. These experts will be able to evaluate all clinical and therapeutic aspects from an interdisciplinary perspective, ensuring optimal cost-benefit and cost-opportunity outcomes in accordance with the scientific guidelines of evidence-based medicine.
By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
- identify, implement and evaluate preventive and therapeutic interventions for pathologies in the field of thermal medicine and medical hydrology, using all available innovative techniques in a comprehensive view of the patient that considers the patient's risk conditions
- collaborate with other support staff to implement and evaluate interventions across various fields, enhancing the efficiency of care delivery
- engage in educational activities, including the development and coordination of training courses.
The postgraduate degree course is delivered in both in-person and online formats.
