The course is aimed to give a complete and updated framework of the
value chain of Critical Raw Materials to graduate employees of the
mining sector. The educational objectives are related to: 

  • concepts of criticality of raw materials in the current geopolitical context
  • updated concepts of metallogeny, with special reference to the central Asia region
  • framework of responsible sustainable mining
  • the multilevel regulatory framework
  • exploration protocol
  • use of relevant analytical techniques
  • methods for resource and reserve evaluation
  • modern Extraction methods and  beneficiation in a framework of safety for workers and protection of the environment
  • the value chain
  • management of mine waste and the process of mine decommissioning and closure.

Career opportunities
