The course is aimed to give a complete and updated framework of the
value chain of Critical Raw Materials to graduate employees of the
mining sector. The educational objectives are related to:
- concepts of criticality of raw materials in the current geopolitical context
- updated concepts of metallogeny, with special reference to the central Asia region
- framework of responsible sustainable mining
- the multilevel regulatory framework
- exploration protocol
- use of relevant analytical techniques
- methods for resource and reserve evaluation
- modern Extraction methods and beneficiation in a framework of safety for workers and protection of the environment
- the value chain
- management of mine waste and the process of mine decommissioning and closure.
Career opportunities
