This master's program trains professionals to address complex challenges in agri-food production and rural socio-economic development, promoting sustainable and peace-oriented policies. It focuses on agroecosystems as integrated economic, social, and ecological units, analyzing their role in development and well-being. The program covers agroecology, natural resource management, innovation, and governance, particularly in response to climate change. Students engage in individual internships and develop reports. By the end of the course, they will have systemic thinking skills to enhance agroecosystem resilience and sustainability. Graduates will be able to analyze agroecosystems, lead community development, facilitate stakeholder collaboration, support sustainable farming, and apply action research methods.

Career opportunities

This master's program is open to students from political science, social sciences, economics, agriculture, and veterinary sciences.
